Overview
Because the series was inspired by Brian Luna Lucero’s “Old Towns Challenged by the Boomtown” (New Mexico Historical Review, v.82 no.1, 2007) Brian will lead off the series of presentations in January.
Each subsequent speaker will offer a brief history of the neighborhood, its geography, genealogy, land grants, and culture. Presenters are familiar with their specific neighborhoods, and some are descendants of Alburquerque founders.
