The Alamosa Library is located in the Community Services wing of the Alamosa Center. Alamosa Center offers health, social and recreational services provided by other City agencies.

Baby and Toddler Storytime    families
Enjoy an interactive storytime with your child that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, fingerplays and body movement. Weekly Baby and Toddler Storytime is targeted for ages 0 - 3.

Preschool Storytime    families
Join in the fun with stories, songs, puppets and more that encourage development of early literacy skills in young children, using the guidelines from the Every Child Ready to Read program. Weekly Preschool Storytime is targeted for ages 3 - 5.

Monthly Craft with Tina    all ages
Join Miss Tina for a fun and creative make & craft that’s guaranteed to get oohs and aahs. No registration required.

Basics for Beginners    adults
Get one-on-one instruction with eBooks, eReaders, tablets, smartphones or computers (Internet, email, Microsoft Word, resumes). A library card with computer access is required. Call us at 836-0684, and we’ll provide an appointment to accommodate your schedule.

Lego Club    children ages 6+
Come build as a team or work on your own creation during our monthly club. Please leave your own Lego at home. We don’t want you to lose your favorite pieces.

Family Coloring Club

First Tuesday of the month, 3 - 4:30 p.m.

Calling all coloring book fans, young and not so young! Join us for some stress-relieving coloring. We'll provide coloring tools and coloring pages appropriate for all age groups.
