Directions
The North Valley Library is located at 7704 B 2nd St. NW on the east side of 2nd Street, approximately 9/10 of a mile north of Osuna Blvd and approximately 9/10 of a mile south of Paseo del Norte.  The Library is next to First Choice Family Healthcare Center and shares the incoming parking lot entrance with the Center.  The front entrance of the Library faces the parking lot rather than 2nd Street.

By Bus:
Route #10 North Fourth Street.

By Car:
Freeway directions:
Take I-25 to Paseo del Norte and head westbound to 2nd Street. Once on 2nd Street, follow the surface street directions.

Surface Street Directions heading South from Paseo del Norte:

Pass through three traffic lights at El Pueblo Rd., Ranchitos Rd. and Los Ranchos Rd. The Library is the fifth building on the left side of the street after the traffic light at Los Ranchos Road.

Surface Street Directions heading North from Osuna:

We are just beyond where 2nd Street curves north. Turn into the parking lot at the First Choice Family Healthcare Center and continue until you see the parking lot for the library.

We are a Fiction to Go location!

Fiction to Go LogoWhat is Fiction to Go?  The Friends for the Public Library sells slightly used, recently published fiction titles for $2 for hardbacks and $1 for paperbacks.  Like all funds that our Friends receive, all proceeds from Fiction to Go sales benefit the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Libraries!

 

Meeting & Study Rooms

North Valley has one meeting room that will hold a maximum of 35 people.  The meeting room is available while the library is open, though groups must be finished 30 minutes before closing. Groups perform their own set-up and take-down of tables and chairs after each meeting. A small retractable projector screen is available. No other library equipment is available for public use.

The library has 2 study rooms available that each hold 4 people.  These study rooms are first come, first served. Sign up at the Information Desk.

 

One-on-one Digital Download and Computer Help

 Sign up for one-on-one help downloading to your digital device or learning basic computer skills including searching the Internet, creating a document in Word and setting up an email account.
