The Taylor Ranch Library is located one block west of Unser Blvd and two blocks south of Montano Road in a residential neighborhood in the Santa Fe Village Park.
There are no local routes that serve the area near the library. The Taylor Ranch route #92 and the Unser route #94 are commuter routes in the early morning and late afternoon. Plan your trip here.
Freeway Directions from Coors Blvd:
Take I-40 to Coors Blvd. and drive north to Montano Road. Follow the surface street directions.
Surface Street Directions from Coors Blvd:
Coming from either north or south, take Coors Blvd. to Montano. Go west on Montano approximately two miles to the stop sign at Unser. Continue west one block to Bogart, then turn left and drive south one-quarter mile. The library is on the left in Santa Fe Village Park.

Take I-40 to Unser Blvd and proceed north on Unser. Follow the surface street directions.

Proceed northbound on Unser to Bogart. Make a left on Bogart and drive north one-quarter mile. The library is on the right in Santa Fe Village Park.

We are a Fiction to Go location! What is Fiction to Go? The Friends for the Public Library sells slightly used, recently published fiction titles for $2 for hardbacks and $1 for paperbacks. Like all funds that our Friends receive, all proceeds from Fiction to Go sales benefit the Albuquerque Bernalillo County Libraries!
Taylor Ranch Library is a Roadrunner Food Bank donation location. Donate non-perishable food items in the bin in our entryway. You can also donate at Erna Fergusson, Juan Tabo, and North Valley libraries.
Baby and Toddler Storytime families
Enjoy an interactive storytime with your child that includes early literacy fun with books, songs, fingerplays and body movement. Weekly Baby and Toddler Storytime is targeted for ages 0 - 3.
Preschool Storytime families
Join in the fun with stories, songs, puppets and more that encourage development of early literacy skills in young children, using the guidelines from the Every Child Ready to Read program. Weekly Preschool Storytime is targeted for ages 3 - 5.
A Good Yarn ages 12 & up
If you enjoy knitting, crocheting, or other needle craft, come to our weekly drop-in stitch group. Intermediate skills and above, please. Feel free to come when you can, and leave as needed.
Book Discussion Group adults
New participants are welcome to our monthly book group! See what we'll be reading throughout the year.
Lego Club all ages
Love Legos? Come to Taylor Ranch Library, and build with friends twice a month. Legos provided! Please leave your Legos at home. We don't want you to lose your favorite pieces.
Gizmo Garage adults and teens
One on one help with your laptop, Kindle, tablet, or other electronic device. Sunday, 3 p.m., Wednesday, 6 p.m., or Thursday, 10 a.m. One person and device per session. Registration is required.
Master Gardeners all ages
The Albuquerque Area Extension Master Gardeners will visit the library twice a month during the growing season to answer your questions about gardening in Albuquerque. The Master Gardener hotline is available every day from 9:30 am to 2:30 pm: 292-7144 or 243-1386.
Basic Computer Class adults
Thursdays, 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Don Newton-Taylor Ranch Community Center. Eight week progressive sessions including Introduction to Computers and MS Word. Drop-in Gadget and Computer Help adults
Wednesdays 9:30 to 11 a.m. at the Paradise Hills Community Center and Wednesdays 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Don Newton-Taylor Ranch Community Center. Help with personal devices (tablets, laptops, etc.) as well as basic computer assistance. Participants should bring all cords for personal devices and should also have a flash drive for saving work.
